Tomato paste is prepared from plump highland tomatoes grown in our own garden in Aydın with good agricultural practice. It is prepared using only tomatoes and rock salt, adhering to the traditional methods we learned from our ancestors.

As Uncle Aydınlı, we start to make tomato paste in August, which is the most suitable period. This is because the air temperature and crop productivity are better in August. Chubby highland tomatoes are picked, washed and sliced. Subject and rock salt are added to large containers. It is mixed daily. When the tomatoes start to melt, they are sieved and separated from their skin and seeds. The viscous water that comes out after filtering is put on trays to condense even more and kept under the sun. When the organic tomato paste has a consistency, it is put in glass jars and olive oil is added on it. Olive oil prevents the tomato paste from spoiling.
