It is prepared from the leaves of Sultani grapes grown in Bağcılar village of Aydın's Koçarlı district. Sultani grape is a seedless grape, its leaves are hairless, veinless and thin. Thus, you can wrap the leaf wraps more easily.

When using vine leaves, which use high amounts of brine salt to prevent spoilage, take enough vine leaves and close the mouth tightly so that the remaining leaves do not come into contact with the air. Afterwards, you can remove excess salt by soaking the vine leaves in plenty of water and washing them several times or boiling them in hot water.
You can store the Aydın vine leaves in airtight packages, out of the sun and in cool environments. Under these conditions, your vine leaves can be stored for a long time without spoiling.
